Lần đầu (1965) bà thầy dạy lớp 3 ở hội Việt Mỹ, English For Today cuốn 1, cho nghe bài hát Imagine của John Lennon để luyện nghe và luyện giọng. Bài hát thích lắm nhưng nói cái gịong "tiếng Anh ngọng" (Vietglish!) tới giờ vẫn vậy. Bởi tui là người Việt Nam mờ!
