France wants the US to extradite the stunning Vietnamese model who was busted at Kennedy Airport in November for trying to flee the country with her daughter, according to new court papers.
Angie Vu, who was once voted Asia’s sexiest DJ, faces child abduction charges in France following a nasty custody spat with her French ex over their young kid.
In court papers filed Thursday, prosecutors from the US Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn said they received the French government’s formal extradition request that same day.
The request was also made within 60 days of Vu’s Nov. 4 arrest and is now being processed by the US government, the documents say.
The 28-year-old buxom brunette, who spins records around the world, tried to board a flight to China with her daughter when she was taken into custody by feds.
The little girl was shipped off to France to her dad, Richard Froger, who had a brief fling with Vu in 2005.
Vu recently told The Post in emails that Froger illegally tricked the French court into granting him custody of the kid and has tried to portray her as an unfit mother.
Last month, Brooklyn federal Judge Viktor Pohorelsky denied her bail, saying he was sympathetic to her position but didn’t have sufficient grounds to spring her from jail.
Vu will appear in court on Tuesday for a hearing.
