Trump and Kim shake hands at historic Singapore summit

Mr. Trump arrived after declaring the talks could "work out very nicely" as officials from both countries sought to narrow differences on how to end a nuclear stand-off on the Korean peninsula.

Shortly before leaving his hotel, Trump said: the "haters & losers" were complaining that his meeting with Kim was a "major loss," but noted the US had its three captives returned and the North's nuclear missile launches had stopped.
